Contextual and Theoretical Overview (approx. 1200 words)
This section will provide historical / political / ethical contexts and outline what theory you will use in approaching your Creative Enterprise. Here, you need to:
● Discuss the development of the field, market or industry. What is the ‘back story’ of the field? What were the problems, and how have they changed over the years?
● Identify and discuss key cultural / social / technological / ethical / political concerns or contexts (you will have mentioned these in the previous section, but have the opportunity to delve deeper here).
● Outline and discuss relevant theory/theories or theoretical framework/s that will be essential to the Creative Enterprise. There may be more than one here, depending on the nature of the enterprise, e.g. gender equality and feminism, social media theory, and audience theory.
