Project Objectives

1. Evaluate dissemination techniques to provide per-diem and part-time staff that cannot attend a 2-week on-line orientation program through collaboration and evidence-based literature.
2. Analyze if the manager and orienting nurse’s satisfaction has increased through data review and evidence-based literature.
3. Compare this orientation process data to the prior orientation data to evaluate if the rate to nurse independence has increased as reviewed in peer literature.
4. Evaluate if there is a better retention rate with a centralized orientation program vs. branch specific orientation compared to peer literature.
